Here are some helpful tips to ensure your CONNEQT Arterial Health Assessment readings are accurate, consistent, and reliable.

Tip #1: Sit Properly
Choose a comfortable, supported chair. Keep your back straight and your feet flat on the floor, avoiding crossed legs.
Tip #2: Relax First
Spend 5–10 minutes in a calm environment before measuring. Deep breathing can help reduce stress and stabilize your blood pressure.
Tip #3: Avoid External Factors
Skip caffeine, intense activity, or certain medications for 2–3 hours before your reading. And be sure to empty your bladder—it can affect your results.
Tip #4: Place the Cuff Correctly
Wrap the cuff on your bare upper arm, about 1–2 cm (or a half inch) above your elbow. It should feel snug—not tight. Don’t place it over clothing, as that can throw off your results.

Tip #5: Take Multiple Readings
Take 2–3 readings, one minute apart, and average the results. This helps smooth out natural fluctuations—your first reading is often the highest.
